What is the Sustainability Store?

The on-line store you are invited to enter from this link is my effort at both Service and Right Livelihood.  Once you enter the store you will find hyperlink pathways to a variety of online companies.  When you connect to these companies directly, via the link from our website, “Imagine Peace and Plenty” will automatically receive a portion of the amount of your purchases.   

How is income from the Sustainability Store distributed?

First the bills are paid – the expenses involved in keeping “Imagine Peace and Plenty” up and running.  Our webmaster – of whose expertise we cannot speak highly enough – doesn’t charge us nearly as much as he could (but please don’t tell him that) for his ongoing creative services. Every website, of course, must also pay yearly hosting fees.  And as our mailing list expands the cost of staying in touch with our readers, via occasional email blasts, will be growing proportionately. 

In accordance with Amazon’s policies, funds raised from linking to Amazon.com are applied to Imagine Peace and Plenty website maintenance and salary expenses rather than as donations to any of the 501c3 groups we support.

The Sustainability Store and Right Livelihood

Simply put, “Right Livelihood” is the pursuit of “Win / Win” outcomes in all aspects of one’s effort to make a buck.  Imagine Peace and Plenty is committed to this approach to doing business.  As our store expands, you will be offered access to a variety of quality offerings.  Many of the goods and services you will be able to access at the Sustainability Store will support our mutual desire to evolve a planet that is truly in balance. One half of net profits from the Sustainability Store constitute my salary.  The other half of net profits are split between the four groups you will be introduced to in the “Imagine Peace and Plenty Beneficiaries” section.
